We want your child's baptism as happy and memorable of an occasion as possible. In pledging our full cooperation, we only ask that you fulfill the Parish Requirements. Please read the following information to assist you in preparing for your child's baptism.
Baptism age requirements
0-17yrs. old
parents and godparents must complete all requirments below
18+
must attend RCIA classes
Requirements for Godparents

must be at least 16 yrs. old

have received Baptism, Eucharist & Confirmation

must lead a life of harmony with the faith and the role to be undertaken.

if married, must be married by the Catholic Church

at least one Godparent is required

How long will the ceremony be?
About one hour, depending on how many other children are being baptized.
Can I have a private baptism?
Yes, but the priest must approve first.
I completed one of the requirements, can I bring in one of the completed forms?
No, we will only take all of the completed forms and receive payment on the day you are registering.
The Godparents live out of town, what can they do to fulfill the requirements?
Godparents can complete the requirements in their home Parish. Once completed, they must request a letter from their parish stating they have attended a baptismal class and attend mass regularly.

Do I need to bring a candle?
We will provide you with a baptismal candle, but if you would like to bring your own that is fine too.
